1 - How do I descale my steriliser?

Scale deposits must be treated regularly. Pour 250 ml of white vinegar into the tank and allow it to stand until all the scale has dissolved. Rinse with plenty of water, and wipe with a damp cloth.

2 - May I use the steriliser for other utensils?

Others utensils can be sterilised, such as spoons, medicine dosers, breast pumps, etc. on condition that they can withstand a temperature of 100°C, for 10 minutes.

3 - My baby brings his milk back up.

A little problem that is common in the first few weeks. They are many causes: the baby may have drunk too quickly or too much for his little stomach, or perhaps the hole in the feeding bottle is too large. Some babies have more problems than others, probably due to the size of their stomach. This phenomenon nearly always disappears with solid food. If there is excessive or violent vomiting, call a doctor immediately.

4 - My baby does not finish his bottle.

Babies appetites vary. Some days they eat well, others, they just are not so hungry. Some are big eaters, and some not. Do not worry babies who skip one meal usually make up for it the next day. One way to be sure your baby is in good health in this respect is to record his weight chart: your baby must not lose weight. TEFAL's extremely reliable and practical electronic baby scales automatically show the weight difference from one weighing to the next.

5 - My baby is hungry at night.

Most babies are like this in the first few weeks of their lives. They wake up at night because they are hungry, and cry. A drink of milk from the bottle, and they go back to sleep. A baby can be quite old before this habit disappears all by itself. Letting baby cry teaches him nothing, he does not understand why his crying produces no response. If he goes back to sleep, he is worn out and will only wake up again a little later, still hungry.
